Petrolhead heaven

Ready for take-off—‘petrolhead heaven’ is how this weekend’s MotorFair at Knockhill in Fife is being billed. And our photographer can vouch for that after a close encounter with some of the official Scottish Motor Show’s top attractions—both on the ground and in the air. Performance sports cars such as the new Aston Martin DB9 and the Pagani Zonda will top the bill, but there is plenty for everyone. Several new models produced by some of the world’s leading manufacturers are also to be unveiled at the show. They include the Ford Mondeo, Mercedes C Class, the Skoda Fabia, the Peugeot 207 GTi and the Chevrolet Captiva. The gates will open at 10am and the show is to be officially opened by TV personality Keith Chegwin at 12.30pm.
