Dundee rocked by stars Travis

The band on stage last night.

SCOTTISH STARS Travis arrived in Dundee last night for a sell-out date at the Caird Hall.

Thousands of fans packed into the venue to see the group, who are touring in support of their new album, The Boy With No Name.

Travis were the latest in a series of big-name acts, including Dundee’s own The View, The Arctic Monkeys and Bryan Ferry to play the venue this year.

Promoters have lined up former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown and singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne to play later in the year.
