A BAN on the son-in-law of Perth tycoon Ann Gloag approaching her home after being accused of assaulting her daughter remained in place after a court appearance yesterday.
Eddie Gray (47) has been prevented from going near the Kinfauns Castle estate on the outskirts of Perth as part of bail conditions set down when he appeared at Perth Sheriff Court to deny hitting his wife, Pamela Gray, at their Fairmont Road home.
He is accused of striking her on the face and gripping her by the throat to her injury during the alleged attack on May 13.
Bail had previously been granted with the special conditions that he stays away from Kinfauns Castle, bought in a multi-million pound deal by Stagecoach founder Mrs Gloag, and his own home.
A condition preventing him approaching, communicating or contacting his wife was lifted.
Yesterday, his address was given as care of a flat in Dunkeld Road, Perth.
The case was continued to the trial diet in September.
