DUNDEE UNITED look to be closing in on Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska.
Until the deal is signed and sealed however, boss Craig Levein is refusing to count on having filled the vacancy created by Derek Stillie’s departure.
“Of the various signings we are working on, the goalkeeper is the closest to getting done,” said Levein yesterday.
“However, particularly when you are dealing with foreign clubs, things can fall through at the last minute so until the I’s are dotted and the T’s crossed I am loathe to say everything looks to be in place.”
Midfielder Morgaro Gomis is facing three weeks’ complete rest after having an injection which it’s hoped will cure his groin complaint. Young Greg Cameron is to consult a specialist this week over his hernia problem.
Meanwhile, the pre-season friendly with Barcelona has been confirmed as a sell-out.
