WELL over 200 primary school pupils from across Fife were hurlin’ and burlin’ around the dance floor yesterday as they marked the end of a series of dance workshops with a ceilidh in the Rothes Halls.

During the past year, over 6000 pupils have participated in dance workshops organised by dance teacher Joyce Anderson, with after-school clubs, demonstrations, and Joyce’s series of ceilidhs held in other parts of Fife all introducing youngsters to the joys of Highland dancing.

Yesterday’s event in Glenrothes attracted dozens of proud parents and relatives to watch their kids take part in an energetic but highly enjoyable afternoon of dancing.
