ONE OF the key elements in the redevelopment of Dundee’s central waterfront—the realignment of the ramps in the landfall area to the north of the bridge—has moved a step closer.

The bridge’s joint board gave its approval for the transfer of a plot of ground to Dundee City Council to accommodate a new west-bound exit ramp.

The board heard that design proposals for the new north ramps have been completed by consultants White Young Green.

Their realignment frees up land around the ramps for further development.
