Dodge is apt machine for Lees at Knockhill

WHEN STANLEY-based racing driver Mark Lees lines up on the grid at Knockhill on Sunday in the Scottish Legends championship he’ll be well up for a great race.

Mark will be at the wheel of his 120mph, motorcycle-engined, Dodge 37 based American Legend racing car.

“I absolutely love racing in this class as you are always guaranteed plenty of thrills and heart-stopping moments from the green light to the chequered flag.

“It’s quite apt that I drive a Dodge as I seem to be dodging other cars on every lap of Knockhill,” he said.

Mark will line up along with more than 20 fellow Legends racers on Sunday when a full programme of races, including Formula Fords, the Smartycars.com Scottish Mini Cooper Cup, classic sports and saloons, Scottish Fiesta XR2s, Scottish saloons and sports cars, will provide racing from around 11am.
