For the second year, Kirkcaldy High School has held a Praise Picnic to mark the achievements of over 400 pupils.

Amazingly, the weather behaved itself as the pupils enjoyed an afternoon including such activities as bungee running, Sumo wrestling, making pancakes and watching cartoonist Iain Anderson in action.

S4 boys Gary Brown, Bradley Givens, Steven Stevenson, Kyle McGlinchey and Christopher Wallace were presented with bikes they won at an army event in Edinburgh, while Cheryl Rae (S2) was able to show off the first commercially-produced versions of her winning entry in the Fife Festival of Languages poster competition.
