PUPILS FROM a Carse of Gowrie primary were celebrating yesterday after receiving their first eco-school green flag.

The award was given to Invergowrie Primary School following various green projects carried out by pupils, parents and staff.

Elizabeth Speedie, head teacher at Invergowrie, said, “The whole school is involved in a wide range of eco-related topics and has been working towards this for three years now.”

The eco committee at Invergowrie consists of two pupils from primary three up to primary seven, four staff and parents.
