DUNDEE AIRPORT is adding yet another destination to its scheduled services on July 28 when flyWhoosh starts flying to Cornwall three times each week.
Alterations to the existing summer timetable allows the day’s first departure to continue from Birmingham.
Tuesday and Thursday flights leave Dundee at 7.10am and arrive in Newquay at 10.20am, with the return service leaving Newquay at 11am and arriving back in Dundee at 2.45pm.
There is also a Saturday service departing at 7.45am, which arrives in Newquay at 11.05.
All flights will stop off at Birmingham en route.
Newquay is famous for its beaches and surf.
As with the existing services to Birmingham and Belfast, flights will be operated by the privately owned Polish airline White Eagle Aviation, which is based in Warsaw.
White Eagle has been operating for 13 years and operates scheduled and charter flights in both cargo and passenger operations.
President and chief executive of White Eagle Alan Fullilove said, “We are very happy to be able to extend the reach of the Whoosh brand across the UK and see Newquay as a very valuable summer route.”
Whoosh chief executive Aden Murcutt said, “We are quite confident that this service will prove popular throughout the summer season.”
