Police have named the woman killed in a collision on the M80 on Sunday as 31-year-old Doreen McGregor of Dalgety Bay

Ms McGregor was killed when a Vauhall Astra collided with a Ford Focus stopped on the hard shoulder on the southbound carriageway near Falkirk.

The occupants of the Focus were a 31-year-old man, who was seriously hurt, and three children, who were slightly injured.

The Astra driver was slightly hurt.

Witnesses should contact the road policing unit on 01786 456000.

A 56-year-old man will be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.

Family and friends in Dalgety Bay declined to comment.
