POLICE drugs officers in Dundee last night recovered what is believed to be half a kilo of heroin with a street value of £50,000.

Two people were taken into custody at police headquarters and charged with drugs offences.

The arrests came after an undercover police operation.

Last night Detective Sergeant Adrian Robertson, from the force’s drugs branch, said that a report on the discovery would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
