AMATEUR ARTISTS Karin Stephen and Amanda Walker have overcome their reticence to exhibit their works publicly.

Both have enjoyed painting as a hobby for many years, and Amanda recently completed a fine art course at Angus College, but they are nervous about the response to their joint exhibition at Montrose public library gallery on Monday.

The exhibition includes painting in water colour and acrylic, charcoal drawings and subjects vary from the abstract to local landscapes and drawings of pets.

The exhibition will run all next week.
