THE HEAVENS may have opened but it didn’t stop bus enthusiasts turning out at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum’s annual open weekend.
Vintage buses were a regular sight in Dunfermline town centre as they ferried hundreds of passengers down memory lane and to and from the 50-acre site at Lathalmond.
Around 200 vehicles are housed there, and in addition there was a record number of visiting buses and commercial vehicles to be admired alongside a collection of classic cars, fire engines, lorries and a steam railway locomotive depot.
Yesterday the roads around Fife were also abuzz with historic buses and commercial vehicles taking part in the Scottish National run.
