FAMILY BACKING for one of the newest and youngest members of the Angus branch of Riding for the Disabled has brought a welcome financial boost for the group.

Nathan Boyle (5), from Arbroath joined RDA in the spring and has quickly taken to the regular visits he makes to the organisation’s South Bottymyre centre, near Forfar.

Nathan’s enthusiasm for what the charity offers has been shared by his granny, Sandra Orrock, whose willingness to help the group has extended to many areas, including organising a fund-raising quiz-sheet.

The venture raised £210, which was handed over at the centre during the latest weekly Saturday morning session.

Mrs Orrock’s generosity is another welcome boost for the RDA, which also raised over £1500 from a successful recent show and the organisers thanked sponsors and supporters who helped make the event such a big hit with the many who took part.
