Menzieshill Community Centre held its family fun day yesterday. Menzieshill Out of School Care group provide youngsters aged five to 11 with activities and the centre’s youth team put on events such as street football. On Saturday around 500 people attended the Whitfield gala day for an afternoon of fun and games. The event took place by the Angus Housing Association offices in Ormiston Crescent. Lord Provost John Letford officially opened the day’s festivities, which included a magician, face painting, free carnival rides and even medieval sword fighting displays.
