GARDENERS’ WORLD presenter Carol Klein and celebrity chef James Martin will be the main draws at this year’s Dundee Flower and Food Festival.

The event begins next Friday and will run until the following Sunday.

Carol became presenter of the show in 2005 while James appears on Saturday Kitchen every week.

Other big names appearing at this year’s festival include the gardening experts Martin Fish, Geoff Stebbings and Sarah Hopps, who will lead the Bayer Roadshow team in answering the public’s horticultural queries.

Other chefs appearing at the event include Craig Millar, owner of the Seafood Restaurants in St Monans and St Andrews, and Jeremy Lee, who has appeared on TV’s The Great British Menu and runs The Blueprint Cafe in London.

Scots chef Nick Nairn will not be attending the event, despite publicity material released by an Aberdeen-based company earlier this week.
