AN ANGUS charity rafting team is on the crest of a wave after powering their way to glory in a Perthshire event.

The group from Forfar garden machinery supplier Gammies joined a host of fund-raising crews on Loch Tummel to take part in the Sense Scotland whitewater challenge.

In addition to winning the race, the team from the Station Yard company—comprising Dale Spence, Stuart Edgar, Peter Livingston, Dave Guthrie and Nikki Saunderson—also raised the impressive sum of £1163 for the charity.
