CELEBRITY GOLFERS took part in the opening exchanges of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns yesterday.

At Carnoustie were Hollywood actors Bill Murray (pictured) and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as singer Huey Lewis, while in St Andrews was singer Ronan Keating.

The celebrities were each paired with pro golfers including Ryder Cup captain Nick Faldo.

The event runs until Sunday.
