MEMBERS OF the Scottish Socialist Party gathered in Dundee at the weekend for their annual conference.
Around 150 delegates attended the event at the Caird Hall, which featured debates on climate change, education and various local and national government policies.
The conference was also addressed by postal and social care workers on industrial action they are taking.
Local historian and Dundee Trades Council chairman Mike Arnott took delegates on a walking tour of the city’s hidden working class history on Saturday.
National secretary Pam Currie said, “We have delegates from all over Scotland at this year’s event and I’m very happy with the turnout.
“Being in Dundee again is great. The Dundee branch of the party is well represented and the city is excellent as a venue.”
This is the third time the annual event has been held in Dundee.
