A DINNER to mark the silver anniversary of Central Scotland branch of the Drystone Walling Association is to be held next month.
The branch is one of the largest and most active in the association, carrying out an annual programme of training and exhibition work. Hundreds of people have attended its courses and many public works have been completed.
Many members have become professional or semi-professional dykers, while others used their acquired skills to maintain and improve their own property.
The dinner takes place in McDiarmid Park, Perth, on Nov-ember 20. It is hoped many past members will attend, along with those who have had links with the association over the years.
Further information is available from chairman Ian Grant on 01821 640276.
