THE SKY above Dundee was transformed into a spectacular display of colour last night as the city celebrated Bonfire Night.
Thousands of local residents braved the cold for the shows at Baxter Park and Lochee Park.
Jordan Doran (8) signalled the start of the Baxter Park display, just before 7pm.
The Claypotts Primary pupil was the winner of Radio Tay’s ‘Push the Button’ competition.
On the other side of Dundee Law, the festivities at Lochee Park began with live music from local band Luva Anna.
Kevin Findlater (7) from St Margaret’s Primary, who won a poster competition, had his finger on the button to start the event.
With an operatic soundtrack, the dramatic 25-minute display didn’t fail to impress the thousands of spectators.
