Children learn of lifeboat rescues

A GROUP of the older children from the Muirfield Primary School playgroup in Arbroath visited the town’s RNLI station yesterday where they, along with playgroup staff and parents, were given a tour.

The visitors were given an insight into the work of the RNLI by full-time mechanic Allan Russell and some of the volunteer crew members and launchers who give up their spare time to train and respond to emergencies.
