DUNDEE UNITED’S entire squad will be at Phil O’Donnell’s funeral in Hamilton today, writes Ian Roache.
The Tangerines have, of course, been particularly badly affected by O’Donnell’s tragic death, as they were the opposing team when the Motherwell captain collapsed before dying of heart failure later in hospital.
Manager Craig Levein, his coaching staff and players will attend the service before returning to Tannadice to prepare for tomorrow’s game against Rangers at Ibrox.
United will also be officially represented at the funeral by director Stephen Thompson and company secretary Spence Anderson.
