A 42-YEAR-OLD man has been charged in connection with an incident at a house in Broughty Ferry which left two people requiring hospital treatment.
Officers have also submitted a report to the procurator fiscal following inquiries into Wednesday’s incident at a bungalow in Grove Road.
The incident resulted in a man, who has not been named, and a police officer suffering injuries.
Both had to be taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Forensic examinations were being carried out at the cordoned-off house yesterday.
A police spokesman said, “Police can confirm that a 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident that took place in Grove Road, Brough-ty Ferry, Dundee, on Wednesday afternoon and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
