ST JOHNSTONE are no closer to bringing Morton midfielder Chris Millar to McDiarmid Park ahead of schedule, writes Graeme Dey.
Saints have tabled a bid of £5000 for Millar— who has signed a pre- contract agreement with them—in order to land the player now instead of having to wait until the summer.
However, contrary to reports from the west of Scotland, the clubs have not reached an agreement.
“We’ve made an offer and the ball is in Morton’s court,” said Saints’ managing director Stewart Duff last night, “They have indicated they’ll come back to us later this week.”
Meanwhile, Saints are in discussion with Falkirk over extending Liam Craig’s loan spell at McDiarmid Park— which is due to end on Thursday—until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, admission prices have been set for Raith Rovers’ trip to face Saints in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Saturday.
Visitors will be accommodated within the North Stand at McDiarmid Park, and admission prices will be £17 for adults, £7 for senior citizens, £10 for 16-18-year-olds and £6 for under 16s.
