Police are concerned for missing mother

ANGUS POLICE are concerned for a mother who went missing hours after making an im- passioned plea for the return of photographs of her daughter.

Moira Vivian (pictured), of Dundee Loan, Forfar, was reported missing soon after 7pm on Wednesday night.

Shortly before her disappearance Moira had spoken to The Courier to appeal for the return of a mobile phone lost by her teenage daughter over the festive period.

The Sony Ericsson handset contained irreplaceable images of her late daughter Sheridan, a Dundee University student who took her own life last summer.

Police issued an appeal to help trace the missing 42-year-old, who is described as being five feet two inches tall, of slight build and with short blonde hair.

A police spokesperson said, “When last seen she was wearing a short black-coloured zip-up jacket, a black-coloured Playboy tracksuit and pink trainers. She also had a medium-sized zipped handbag with her.”

Anyone with any information should contact the police on 01307 302200.
