TWO FIFE men were last night fighting for life after their cars were involved in a head-on collision on the B922 outside Glenrothes.
The men were being treated at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
It is understood one of the men is in his teens or early 20s and the other is middle-aged.
Police said they are both from the Glenrothes area.
They were seriously injured when a silver Volkswagen and a green Renault collided between the Kinglassie junction and the Strathore Road junction at around 3.45pm yesterday.
One of the drivers was trapped in the wreckage and was cut free by firefighters.
The Cluny Road was closed for several hours while police investigated the cause of the accident.
Fife Constabulary are continuing their investigation and have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them on 01592 251111.
