A LEADING construction company is celebrating after securing contracts worth almost £10 million for projects in Tayside and Fife.

Mansell Construction’s Tayside Business Unit, of Mains Loan in Dundee, is now the lead contractor for the £3.5 million Community Midwife Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary and is also to carry out the £3.5 million refurbishment and extension of Dunning Primary School.

Other contracts include creating a £1 million laboratory suite at Dundee University’s Medical Sciences Institute, involvement in replacing the kitchen block at RAF Leuchars and extending the armoury building at RM Condor, near Arbroath.

Lindsay Cowan, regional director for Mansell, said he was delighted with the firm’s recent success.
