TIMMERGREENS Primary pupil Scott Milne (pictured) has proved himself a breakfast expert in a national competition.
The primary-five pupil was yesterday presented with a certificate and a £25 book token for his class in recognition of being runner-up in the competition to research and create a healthy Scottish breakfast.
The competition was run by the Royal Highland Education Trust and the Home Grown Cereals Authority, in conjunction with Tesco Scotland, to promote the benefits of a healthy breakfast.
Scott and his classmates have been studying farming and saw a poster for the contest while on a visit to Newton of Arbirlot farm.
