A GLENROTHES flat that went on sale earlier this month for just £3500 has been sold, it has emerged.
Due to confidentiality reasons, it is not known how much the ground- floor property in Keith Court went for, but the bargain price of the Tanshall bedsit meant it certainly attracted a great deal of interest.
Seller Slater Hogg & Howison said the one- bedroom home would be “ideal for a first-time purchaser or buy-to-let investor.”
However, it conceded it “requires both modernisation and redecoration.”
The eventual buyer has got him or herself a combined living room and bedroom with a kitchen area and separate bathroom.
Potential buyers were also asked to note that the seller was “unable to confirm whether certain items included with the property are in full working order.”
It is understood there were 25 viewings for the 1960s-built property and seven offers were lodged before the closing date last Wednesday.
