DUNDEE UNIVERSITY Boat Club paddled a distance equivalent of that from Edinburgh to Dublin last night to raise money for charity.
The annual row-a-thon saw around 30 DUBC members carry out a non-stop relay row from noon to midnight over a distance of more than 200 miles in the university union.
The money raised will be equally split between the NSPCC and the club itself.
Meanwhile the university’s Triathlon and Mountainbike Club took part in a sponsored cycle outside the union from 12pm to 10pm.
*Pictured on the rowing machine are second year students Natalie Montgomery and Jamie Hanna. Marking their progress in the middle is club secretary Sophie Warburton.
