FIFE POLICE have confirmed that the body of a man found in a garage site in Kennoway late on Wednesday is that of 21-year-old local man Dean Ross.

Levenmouth Area Chief Inspector Andy Morris said that investigations were continuing into the cause of Mr Ross’s death.

A postmortem is being held today.

“Initial inquiries indicate there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Dean’s death,” Mr Morris said yesterday.

“However, my staff and I are keen to speak to anyone who saw Dean between the hours of 5pm and 9.30 last night.

“Anyone who thinks they hold any information, no matter how insignificant they feel it may be, is urged to contact the police on 0845 600 5702.

“You can be assured that all information will be treated confidentially,” he added.

Mr Ross’s body was found at the garage site between Langside Drive and Denhead.
