ARMED POLICE officers were involved in a raid on a house in the Kirkton area of Dundee yesterday.

The operation, at about 10am, was part of an on-going inquiry, said a police spokesman.

He confirmed that trained firearms officers were involved, but said no shots were fired and no one was arrested.

“Other officers undertook a search of the address and inquiries are now continuing,” he added.

He was unable to comment on whether police had removed anything from the house in Helmsdale Crescent.
