Band’s farewell tour

Yorkshire all-girl ban Waking the Witch began their farewell tour of the UK in the Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry, last night. The talented foursome are calling it a day after five years on the circuit and the recent release of their critically-acclaimed CD Boys from the Abattoir— mainly because Becky Mills is expecting a baby. Best known south of the border, they wowed the audience at Out of the Woods at the hotel last year, not only with their music but also their northern humour. Dundee was the venue for the band’s only Scottish gig on the tour.
