Dundee folk singer Sheena Wellington attended a student piping event at Abertay University last night. Sheena, the honorary president of the university’s Piping and Traditional Music Club, visited the students’ union to watch the event and judge an informal competition. Pipers from the university have also been invited to play in Dundee’s twin city, Orleans, and at Izmir University in Turkey.
