A FORMER Dundee teacher is to face disciplinary proceedings over allegations of inappropriate behaviour with a pupil, writes Grant Smith, education reporter.

The General Teaching Council of Scotland held a preliminary hearing yesterday into the case of Mrs Angela Dunning and decided to refer it to a full disciplinary hearing at a date yet to be decided.

If found guilty she could be struck off the register of teachers.

Mrs Dunning was a teacher at Braeview Academy, but she is no longer employed by the city council.
