RETIRED NURSE and midwife Miss Mary Ann Hannah celebrated her 101st birthday yesterday.

Miss Hannah was born in Dundee and has lived all her life in the Hilltown/Wellgate area.

After retirement Miss Hannah maintained her interest in caring for others and was regularly to be found putting her nursing skills to good use.

Her other passions included travelling and animals.

She celebrated her birthday in Pitkerro Care Centre surrounded by friends and family.
