ST JOHNSTONE striker Andy Jackson was not detained overnight in hospital on Tuesday, despite sustaining a head injury against Queen of the South which required him to be rushed to Ninewells.

Jackson was stretchered off 73 minutes into the match and, although he was fully conscious en route to Dundee, he was checked out as a precaution and released later that night.
