THE SPECIAL BOAT for disabled anglers which disappeared from the side of Loch Fitty some months ago has been recovered from a local Scottish Coal site, writes Ken Bell, angling correspondent.
And it is now hoped to install it at North Third Trout Fishery near Stirling.
The boat, which went missing at the start of the year after closure of the fishery at Fitty, was discovered undamaged close to where it went missing.
It was seen and photographed and the information passed to SANA by two members of the public.
SANA spokesman Alastair Wallace said following the report to their office at The Pier, Kinross, that the boat had been seen, officials and police recovered it near the top of a hill within the Scottish Coal St Ninians quarry site near Kelty.
