ALMOST 300 fans of chart band The Enemy packed into the Zavvi store in the Wellgate last night.
The Coventry act play the Caird Hall at their sell-out concert tonight, but swapped the vast surroundings for an intimate set in front of a young audience to launch their new single, This Song.
The three-piece, whose debut album We’ll Live And Die In These Towns went straight to number one in the album chart last year, also signed autographs and posed for photographs with the mainly teenage audience.
Shop manager John Flood said, “We’re delighted to have such an amazing band as The Enemy as our first gig in such a small venue.”
