X-FACTOR favourites, the MacDonald Brothers gave shoppers a thrill in Perth and Dundee on Saturday when they stopped off to meet their fans.

The Ayrshire duo, fourth in the singing contest in 2006, have just completed a four night stint in front of packed crowds at Glasgow’s SECC supporting Irish chart-toppers, Westlife.

They are now set to return to the studio to complete their third album, which is due to reach a world-wide audience thanks to a recent deal signed with Australian label, Jo-Ke.

The brothers took the time to sign copies of their albums and chat to their fans who had come to meet them at the Asda store on Dunkeld Road, while dozens queued up at Asda Milton of Craigie, Dundee, in hope of catching a glimpse, or even a hug.
