DUNDONIANS GOT the chance to have their say about climate change when the World Wildlife Fund Scotland visited the city on Saturday.
The environmental group set up an eye-catching stall in City Square to try to encourage people to support a strong Scottish climate change bill.
A polar bear character joined staff from the organisation to appeal for signatures and to hand out free energy-saving light bulbs.
The booth is one of 25 planned events being staged across the country by WWF at which people will be asked to demonstrate their support for legislation.
Dr Dan Barlow, WWF Scotland’s acting director, said it was vital that people became involved with the campaign.
He said, “This bill may be the most important piece of legislation we will see in our lifetime. As a nation Scotland can lead the way on tackling climate change, the biggest threat we all face.
“With less than three weeks to go until the consultation closes, Dundonians will this weekend have a great chance to make their voices heard on climate change.”
