THE FAMILY of missing woman Linda Hill should know today the results of a post-mortem examination that was carried out yesterday on a body recovered from the sea off East Lothian.
The body was discovered on a beach at Dunbar on Saturday.
Mrs Hill’s family have endured two weeks of pain and uncertainty since the “out-of-character” disappearance of the 41-year-old grandmother.
Police said her husband Kenny and daughter Claire were being kept up to date with developments.
They have been in constant contact with the Tayside force.
The post mortem was carried out by Lothian and Borders Police pathologists, but media calls there yesterday about the result of the examination were being diverted to Tayside’s press office—an indication that the body may be Mrs Hill.
Mrs Hill was last seen around 6.45am on Sunday, April 6 after a night out with her husband in Broughty Ferry and Monifieth.
The night was initially described as a normal one but this version of events was complicated when it emerged Mrs Hill had been arrested only hours before her disappearance.
