Woman’s condition is critical

One of the woman injured in a collision near Dunfermline at the weekend is still critically ill in hospital, Fife Police confirmed yesterday.

The 22-year-old from Saline is being treated at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.

She was one of three injured in the accident on the A985 Kincardine to Rosyth road, near Pattiesmuir, on Sunday afternoon.

Her 24-year-old friend, who was driving, and her friend’s baby daughter were also hurt.

Both were taken to hospital—the toddler at the Sick Children’s Hospital in Edinburgh—but have now been released.

A 36-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident.
