THE WOMAN who died in a fire at her Glenrothes home on Thursday has been named as Mary Kate Moran. She was 54.

Her body was found in her bungalow at Piper Drive in the Collydean area after the fire service was called to tackle the blaze.

Efforts to resuscitate her at the scene proved un- successful

Mrs Moran’s family asked to be left alone to grieve privately yesterday.

Fife Fire and Rescue Service and Fife Police are still investigating the cause of the fire, which broke out at around 3.15pm.
