POLICE HAVE confirmed that the body of a man found on the beach at Lunan Bay on Sunday was that of 49-year-old Peter Good, who was last seen at his home in Ferryden, Montrose, 10 days ago.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and, as is normal, a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Police said Mr Good’s family was deeply upset following the discovery and was grateful to those who assisted during the search.
Mr Good, who stayed with his parents in Craig Terrace, was described as a very private person.
Mr Good’s father Robert said, “We had hoped for a better end. He was a fine lad and we can’t understand what has happened.”
Mr Good is also survived by his mother Edith and sisters Roberta, Catherine and Morag.
