Bonnie and Clyde do the honours

Pictured at the PADS shop opening are, from left—volunteers Helen Chalmers, Gladys Stewart, Robert Nicol, dog-owner Gill Porter and volunteer Mabel McElhinney, with Clyde and Bonnie.

DACHSHund’s Bonnie and Clyde did the honours as the Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society’s (PADS) store opened in Perth yesterday to raise money for the care of abused and abandoned animals at the charity’s home at Forteviot.

PADS is on the lookout for items to boost their sales—as well as a few volunteers to help the dedicated team.

PADS chairman Alison Kennedy added, “We have always had wonderful support from the generous people of Perth for our little annual store, and hope that this year we can count on them once again.”

The shop will be open from 10am-4pm from Monday to Saturday for four weeks.

Donated goods can be brought to the shop during its opening hours.
