THE FUNERAL of murdered brother and sister Ryan and Michelle Thomson will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium at 3pm on Friday.

Ryan (7), a pupil at Buckhaven Primary School, and Michelle (23), who suffered from severe learning difficulties, were found dead at their home in Methilhaven Road, Buckhaven, on Saturday, May 3.

The siblings were discovered in their bedrooms by their mother June.

Their father Robert Thomson (49) was later charged with murder and appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court last Tuesday.

It is alleged that he stabbed them both repeatedly and murdered them. Thomson is due to make a second appearance at court today.
