A PERTHSHIRE chef has scooped one of the top prizes at the Scottish Chefs’ Association chef of the year awards.

At a ceremony at the Radisson in Glasgow, Catherine Liston (pictured), head chef at The Anglers Inn, Guildtown, was named gastro pub chef of the year.

Catherine moved to the establishment a year ago with owners Jeremy and Shona Wares, after two years at their former restaurant—63 Tay Street in Perth.
